I've been composing steadily for film and TV on projects ranging from drama, comedy and documentary to commercials and other short form media.  I'm currently finishing the score for the feature comedy Last Call, starring Christopher Lloyd.  My most recent documentary, Bloody Thursday, won a 2010 LA Emmy Award in the Arts, Culture and History category.

Recently MTV/VH1 licensed thirty minutes of my music to use on a variety of shows, including the hit show The Hills.

Outside of film, I've written and performed in a wide range of styles.  My current project is a solo release of retroloungefunkfusion tracks, one of which (Body Shots) has already gotten pre-release play on LA's powerhouse new-music station, KCRW.

A self-taught guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, in 2000 I embarked on an intense study of contemporary classical, jazz, composition and arranging, with the idea of bringing my wide range of musical loves together in my own compositions.  I studied and played with great musicians, including the amazing guitarist and composer Kevin Callahan, legendary trombonist and composer Julian Priester , bandleader Jim Knapp, two-time Emmy award winning film and television composer Hummie Mann and one of LA's top film arrangers and orchestrators Scott Smalley.

I'm a member of the performing rights organization ASCAP.  I'm a big fan of the NY Yankees.
